Baptist Health always celebrates the first baby of the new year, but 2025 was a little extra.
Casey Dotson, RN, who normally cares for patients as a nurse on the Mother/Baby unit, welcomed her own baby on New Year’s Day.
At 7:17 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025 Corey Forrester, MD, delivered Hallie Dotson, weighing 8 pounds, 12 ounces and measuring 21 inches.
Hallie is the third daughter born to Dotson and her husband, Seth.
